Dstny strengthens the Board with the appointment of Patrik Sörqvist, who becomes the new Chairman. The company has a strong position and has achieved strong growth on the Swedish UCaaS market (Unified Communications as a Service. Dstny’s ambition is to continue the international expansion. During this expansion, Patrik Sörqvist has the role of broadening the company’s expertise and experience using his network of contacts and his experience of the industry.
Patrik Sörqvist has over 20 years international experience of telecoms and cloud services. He was Vice President Cloud for the European, Middle Eastern and African markets at Mitel until June this year. Previously in his career, he had the role of CEO at Telepo, a leading Swedish software company for communications solutions, which was sold to Mitel in 2014. Prior to that he worked as Vice President Engineering at Global IP Solutions, a company that developed software for processing audio and video in real time and that was sold to Google. Patrik Sörqvist has also held different posts within Ericsson.
His contacts, knowledge, enthusiasm and vast experience of the industry will be invaluable as Dstny continues to expand its business.
