Dstny’s entry into the Norwegian market is underway – an establishment in collaboration with Telenor. Within a few weeks, the first cloud services will be delivered to customers in the country.
“Our ambition is to be a supplier to the entire Nordic region, and now the last piece of the puzzle is falling into place, says MD Mattias Ohde.
Together with the network of partners, Dstny can offer a complete service portfolio to companies in Norway, and hopefully also to Swedish firms with interests in the country.
The collaboration with Telenor means that, through the platform, Dstny can offer fully integrated mobiles where it is possible to connect telephone numbers from the fixed network with mobile numbers.
In addition to all the key features that the companies are looking for, customers will get access to some aother features which were not previously available on the Norwegian market.
“We see great opportunities to fill a demand with a range of additional services in combination with mobile user environments”, says Mattias Ohde.
A background to the initiative is that Dstny already has a strong presence on the Swedish west coast, where there are many companies with strong connections to Norway.
“From experience we know that several companies are looking for flexible communication solutions that crosses national borders. This increases the opportunity for great collaborations within a number of groups and companies with establishments on both sides of the border”, says Mattias Ohde.
Global solutions are something that Dstny strongly believes in.
“The fact that we can now also offer Telenor’s fantastic network in Norway really is the icing on the cake. They hold a really dominant position in the Norwegian market”, says Mattias Ohde.
But Dstny’s expansion does not stop there. “The intention is now to continue working on establishing ourselves in other European markets. Partly as an integrator, partly as a wholesale supplier.
– There are several interesting markets and we have already taken steps towards a launch not too far into the future”, says Mattias Ohde.

About Dstny: Founded in 2017 as a merger between Solus Business Communications AB and Uno Telefoni. The merger was made possible through reinvestment in Dstny by the new owner SEB Private Equity and the founders of Solus and Uno. The company works with cloud-based communications solutions and will initially form the largest operator-independent player on the Swedish market. In addition to its continued expansion in Scandinavia, the company also sees huge potential for growth internationally, particularly in the European market.
